Remove the radio
Remove the centre panel around the radio with a plastic pry tool. Insert four DIN extraction keys into the holes at the corners of the front panel until you hear a click, then slide the radio forward. The CD70 Navi (double DIN) is held by screws.

Read the serial number
On the sticker on top of the radio you will find the serial number. It often starts with BP or GM, but other formats also occur. Note the full number and tell the letter O apart from the digit 0.

Caution: maximum 10 attempts
On Opel the radio is permanently and irreversibly blocked after 10 wrong attempts. Check your serial number carefully before entering the unlock code. Enter the code using preset buttons 1–4 (hold the AS button to start and confirm).
